New Zealand is emerging as one of the famous countries which usually win awards. Recently, they have two companies won for responsible tourism. The winners are Whale Watch Kaikoura, named as ovwerall winnet at the Virgin Holidays Responsible Tourism Awards. Also named won the marine environment category. Moreover, YHA Wellington City won the best large hotel accommodation category. According to George Hickton, chief executive of TNZ, both awards are well-deserved and he hopes that recognition will encourage other New Zealand operators to make responsible tourism part of their everyday business practices.
Take note of last year's, New Zealand award, which is the first country to win the overall award as well as best destination. These awards serve as the proof of New Zealand's beauty and worth to the whole nation. [via nbr.co.nz] |
